August 23: Lake City Experiment Station Forage and Livestock Field Day beginning at 9:30 a.m. Highlights and topics include: research and demonstration tours, exploring weaning alternatives to minimize bawling, fueling grazing steers with biofuel byproducts, and the pros and cons of trying yellow-blossomed Falcata alfalfa. Featured speaker will be Dr. Nevil Speer, Western Kentucky University. Attendance is free, but please RSVP by August 16 to ensure accurate materials and lunch count.
